Dynamic Database Content...bring on the Showcase Website.

Dynamic Database Content...bring on the Showcase Website.

We take a typical Bootstrap Website Template (header, content, footer) and integrate a powerful datatables editor to make parts of it dynamic.

If you are familiar with the bootstrap framework you'll know that the layout and components can inspire you to make a workable responsive website very fast.

What I have done is packaged it all as an installable application to instantly present data ...be it a products gallery or news listings or artwork or any other desired data.

For the web designer there's still much scope to further design using the bootstrap components available, so Showcase Website is a great starter database website.

If you want to download it you'll first need a license from datatables.net as Showcase Website uses their Editor as the engine to power the database..

There are 3 starter versions.

1. Showcase Website This will produce an instant gallery of clickable images linked to 'post' information page that can ultimately lead to a purchase page elsewhere.

2. Events Showcase The difference is that this version is geared towards marketing events with a date and time.

3. Video Clip Directory This version can allow categories of YouTube Embedded Video Clips posted either by a YouTube community or the Administrator.

When installed, we will see a sleek bootstrap template and when we login to the Administration, we can choose a default language, choose theme colors, front page heroes and set up product categories via a 'flag' system.

Immediately we can create products in the 'Pages' database that will be presented in a typical Bootstrap grid layout....or if we so choose, presented as a listing.

That's not all. There are options to make a two column template with an added 'Brands' database that will populate the second column, typically for ads or widget codes.

For a quick start we have a Name, Logo, Categories, About Us, Newsletter Sign Up and ready made Conditions and Disclaimer.

Along the way, everything should be search engine friendly and if we input a lot of data I have employed an 'infinite scroll' feature just to help everything load smoothly.

Extra features include an option for our visitors to INSERT data at the front end. For example if you wanted an 'Add Your Listing' option that can be enabled via the settings.

Furthermore a 'sponsors ads' slide can be enabled above the footer by default.

All the features I have listed can be viewed in many of my online demonstrations.
